As a regular Design Expert on the Marilyn Denis Show, Kasia shows her talents by demonstrating how to incorporate current market trends into your space, fun and creative do-it-yourself projects and full room makeovers.
For Kasia (owner of Kasia Waloszczyk Designs, previously known as Chi Chi Home boutique), colour has always been a necessity, from her first box of pencil crayons to her first job stocking colour chips for Benjamin Moore Paints. It was there that others discovered her knack for solving colour choice and design dilemmas for residential and commercial spaces.
Her love for design was a constant. With a background of Honours standing in both a B.A. in Arts from University of Toronto and Sheridan College’s Interior Decorating Program Kasia has applied her colour and design sense to over 15 years experience in the design industry.
For the past 6 years Kasia has been strongly involved in home textile development. Working on patterns, designs and most importantly colour development applicable for the North American clientele. Dealing with fabric mills overseas has given Kasia a more open sense of style and design as she gets to explore worldwide trends. Having a strong knowledge in textile, Pantone development, scaling and textures has helped her become that much stronger as an Interior Stylist.
Kasia explores the world of design in many creative venues, to keep up to date on the hottest trends in Interior Design she annually participates in trade shows such as Heimtextil, MoOD, Valencia’s Textilhogar and ITMA Showtime, while never missing a single local event like IDS, IIDEX and TCHFM.
